The old farmstead at Torabhaig has identified some time ago as the ideal place for a small, traditional distillery, with all of the ingredients necessary to produce good, robust island whisky. They were also lucky, to begin with a magnificent, rustic structure that only needed a little Maintenance.
Torabhaig Distillery
Torabhaig is the first distillery to be built on Skye in 190 years, and it’s the island’s only licensed malt whisky distillery.
