Shambellie House was given to Scotland as the National Museum of Costume in 1977. Its purpose is to turn the house and grounds into a resource for creative small and micro-businesses. Shambellie House aspires to be a creative education hub, offering day workshops as well as longer short-break courses taught by experienced tutors in fields like writing, photography, wellbeing, or singing.
